Immediate Identification Lead

Pipe-fitter Duane La Chance was listed in critical condition after suffering third-degree burns from a 15,000 volt power line yesterday.

Delayed Identification Lead

Working at Springfield Municipal Power Plant, a Gross Engineer pipe-fitter suffered third-degree burns yesterday. Duane La Chance, 55, was listed in serious condition by the Springfield Hospital after he accidentally touched a power line carrying 15,000 volts with a piece of angle iron.

Car Accident

Immediate Identification Lead

Wayne Clay, 19, and James W. Cunning, 20, were involved in a crash on U.S. 63 yesterday.

A two-car accident occurred on U.S. 63 one-tenth of a mile north of Blue Ridge Road yesterday. Wayne Clay crossed the center line and struck the 2005 Ford Focus owned by James W. Cunning, who is currently in satisfactory condition at Springfield Hospital.
